Gulf Coast Business Review 2004 Technology Awards

On December 10, 2004, the Gulf Coast Business Review honored Vox2Data as one of the three top technology companies in the Florida gulf coast region. Vox2Data received the award, sharing the top three places with prestigious organizations such as Florikan ESA and the Roskamp Foundation.

Accepting the award at a breakfast at the University of South Florida Campus, Ron Carson and Katherine Conners “wowed” the audience with a demonstration of the voice activated transcription replacement software.

The award recognition further helps to establish Vox2Data as a leader in the electronic medical software industry.

Vox2Data, Inc. Announces Release of Innovative New Software

Vox2Data , Inc., Sarasota, Florida, announced that they have released the .Net Vox2Data Enterprise Edition voice activated medical transcription-replacement software.

Ms. Conners stated, “The mission of Vox2Data is to assist medical facilities in streamlining their procedures through automation and technology. The use of EMR software has been shown to both save time and eliminate errors, while providing more complete and immediately accessible patient records.”

The .Net version has the full capabilities of the Vox2Data Enterprise Edition , with some significant additional features. Remote dictation, ability to use the Internet for remote dictation and prescription writing capabilities are just a few of the new features that make Vox2Data one of the top medical transcription-replacement software companies in the market.

The software is designed with larger clinics, multi-office and hospitals in mind, but can also be of great benefit to individual and small practices. The ability to do remote dictation allows each practitioner to be able to transcribe his notes immediately, from any location that has access to the Internet. The prescription writer has the ability to track allergies and medications accurately. This will allow the patient files to be updated in a quick and precise manner.

To promote the release of the .Net Version, Vox2Data , Inc. will be participating in some major conferences as well as advertising in national medical publications over the next few months, These conferences will provide Vox2Data with excellent exposure in fields and specialties previously untapped by the company.
